Well that answers that one.
Well its more useful to compare it to the C2S as, but more so on every axis. A lot of people bought GT3s and then sold them because they were too connected and it simply wasn't comfortable to pose in if you weren't a commited petrol head.

the gt3 has (for me, after a personal record 72 hours of ownership):
less comfort.
less kit.
less mass apeal.
less usability.
less refinement.
less niceties.
but:
more back problems.
more fuel bills.
more likely to kill me.
more raw appeal.
more fun.
more more more.

OK, long version. Ive had squillions of cars, Ive liked them all. i LOVE the gt3. its made me happy. its practically a cure.
to further elucidate, Ive done 1500 miles since Friday night. and i don't even care that someone appears to be stealing petrol from me. everyone should have one of these things. its good for what ails ya'.

TT is brutally fast and great at cross country/continent runs, likes a trip to the track but leans a bit in the corners and doesn't inspire confidence. GT3 OK on A roads, jumpy on B roads and planted on the track, little or no roll and wonderful confidence inspiring handling. Both are extremely quick cars that excel in completely different environments. For me the turbo is just too fast to drive safely on the Queens Highway, without seriously contemplating a trip to jail. The GT3, on the other hand, is best driven hard on the track(it's favoured environrment) where you can begin to exploit it's fantastic poise and sheer driveability free from the attention of plod and other ar*ehole motorists.

too"Or buy a 2 wheel drive turbo. A good mate, the chap who owns Paragon GB and has sold a number of 3.6 turbo's said to me many years ago, Isn't there a great sense of achievement when you've taken a 3.6 turbo out in the wet and driven it quickly and still arrived at your destination in one piece.

I have one boy, 6 months, and the turbos fine for him. However, a GT3 comfort version could be kited with a child seat. Sacraledge, but no choice. Either that or, if the GT3 is the one for me, its a trip to Bernardo's.
I think next time I flash 60k for a motor, I will drive a few more. I am 31 and probably am not ready for a rapid Grand Tourer, which the Turbo is.
So the next question, Mk 1 or Mk 2 GT3?
