don't know why but everything on Pistonheads seems to be too big. pictures are huge and posts are far to wide to read. Wasn't like this last week and am not aware of having tampered with anything. Anyone help ?

Is it just Pistonheads? Probably your screen resolution has changed.

Is it the browsers icons, the start button etc or just the stuf in the browsers window?

right click anywhere on the desktop (screen background with no windows in the way) and select 'properties' from the drop down menu. Then choose 'settings' from the tabs along the top of the resulting dialogue box, and increase the screen resolution to the next size up, i.e. from 800 x600 to 1024 x 768. It'll let you test for 15 seconds and then revert. Do that and if it works ok select it.

Doesn't pressing Alt and F5 at the same time sort out browser issues?

Probably ctrl+mousewheel. Same as Ctrl and + as someone mentioned above but the mousewheel version seems to happen more frequently.

Could be that the page wih the big images just didn't finish loading. Ted's forum software resizes images to keep the post widths reasonable.

some browsers like opera have a zoom in capability, you haven't selected that by accident have you?

or somehow activated disability settings?

Yo gaz, do you have a scrolly wheel thingybob on your mouse?

If so, go to one of the sites with the big fat letters, and then hold down [CTRL] on your keyboard then scroll the wheel up and down, until you get the desired text size. Now close the browser... Hopefully when you restart it your text will be restored to the correct dimensions.

Does it clear when you press the CTRL and the 0 (Zero) at the same time, when you're looking at a pear shape page?

PistonHeads to the rescue again. I often wonder if there is any question that wouldn't get answered on this site!
