Bonnet and boot struts

Could somebody post the cylinder lengths and pressures (N/m force) for these as i think i've found some adjustable ones that may work. Ta

100N printed on the body. Not very legible.
They appear to be the same all round.
My quick measurements give...

20 mm from centre of ball to end of body.
250mm body length (not including the ball fixings)
200 mm exposed shaft length.
20 mm from the end of the shaft to centre of ball fixing.

I measured the force on mine a few years ago and they appear to be in spec yet the boot is a bit lazy (has Zender spoiler) and the bonnet doesn't hold if you are on a slight slope or if you breath on it. Adjustable pressure would be an advantage especially for those SEAC boys with picnic tables on the back

Thanks Leo they are adjustable to a point ie. they come fully pressurised and you have to let the gas out a bit at a time until it's correct. But if you release too much gas then i'ts an expensive re-fill. Will post more later if they are the correct size.

I've used these in the past, in my pre-wedge days! They are reasonably easy to bleed down but it is a one way process!

The bonnet struts are definitely 100 N - RT Racing used to sell the one-way adjustables. I replaced my bonnet struts a few months back (they couldn't be re-gassed) for £64 all in for both from www.sgs-engineering.com/ Very helpful guys.

I replaced one 100N strut for one 200N strut in the front and the rear of my SEAC.
So 1x 100N + 1x 200N for the bonnet and 1x 100N + 1x 200N for the rear boot.
Works perfect !!

New range rover ones are cheap, but too strong. The good news is if you use one new rangie one and an old tired tvr one, it's just right.
