Some little **** has keyed my car!

I won't bang on; this topic is sadly seen all too often for all to tut at on PH; but I just want to vent my anger at someone or something. You lot will do.

I also know that my car is only a Rover 620Ti, but it is my pride and joy and the only thing I can afford at the moment to satisfy my PH desires.

It just makes me lose all faith in society when a man can't even park his car in a sleepy little village (Disley in Cheshire if you are interested) without some scrote(sp?) carving a foot long gash accross the front.

Bad luck fella.
Did you park up on the kerb? This has been known to drive pushchair mums and old men walking dogs to do some major vandalism.

Saw a car in racing green the other day where EVERY panel area had been keyed. It was a Rover200.
What makes people do these things?

No, I parked in a line of cars on a small road for about two hours last night. Probably just some kids that I wouldn't mind using as placemats for my wheels.

What makes a foot long scar dissapear without resorting to a respray or murder?

Sorry to hear it mate, ive been in the same situation myself - i had my car (was only 18 at the time, had an M reg Fiesta!) keyed right down the side by one of the local scrotes - as soon as he saw id had it resprayed, he did it again but did the bonnet too for good measure. Little bastard.

You're right, this topic has been done to death on PH. That's what is so frustrating - the fact that this type of pointless vandalism is such commonplace. While not being forgiveable, you can at least understand why a broke guy might steal food from a shop. He at least gains something from the crime. But keying a car screws everyone up.

This happened to my Focus just before Christmas - someone keyed all the panels on one side of the car. The next night some drunk lads climbed on the roof and jumped up and down on the bonnet - for fun. A neighbour caught them. The result is we all suffer when insurance companies increase premiums to fund the repair bills.

Its a sad fact that if your car lives on the street it will at some point be subject to some sort of vandalism.

Mate at work just had his Audi coupe done all down one side, £500 to sort out. Its just a matter of time before it happens again.

Oversteer says: get your own back. The logical thinker would say that the difficulty faced in achieving this admirable goal is that you don't know who did it. If however you take a more lateral approach to this thought process you could decide to see someone walking down the road, don't like the look of them, a bit of a "Chav" as I believe they're known, possible vandal - just kick their teeth in.

This way you feel better and a potential crime has been avoided. The criminal justice system is far too picky in this respect.

I have a good female friend (Senior nurse) who has just taken delivery of a brand new Audi A4 Cabriolet. She saved for years to get this and having only had itfor two weeks, parked it in a public car park in Windsor while she went shopping for an hour. When she came back, someone had kicked both front wings so hard they were concave with boot sole patterns embeded into the paint. They had also done one of the rear wings.

Cost of repairs is £2500. She is gutted and still cries because she thinks it is a personal insult to her efforts to achieve her main goal (a decent car) for once in her life.

This happened about three weeks ago. I am so incensed by this mindless act of jealousy that when I find the little sh1t ........

You may have stumbled on to something here. Little do we know that there is an unofficial rule among insurance company employees that they must key cars if they can get away with it...

Thanks for the sympathy PH. It makes me sick to hear these stories of our things of desire being tarnished by the sort of idle f*****s that can't be arsed to get out to work and save up for such objects of beauty themselves (I’m talking about cars such as the Audi and other aspiration motors – not my Rover).

I don't know if this makes me racist or not but this mentality does make me hate every tracksuit wearing yoof that you see lurking in bus shelters and on nearly every street corner after dark – with his trousers tucked into his socks and his base ball cap perched on his buffed noggin. I do cross to the other side of the street if I see one approaching because of so many bad experiences in the past.

Personally I term them as thieving little Skallies, but hey - I am just a racist bigot that has been forced into my hate fuelled bitterness by these mindless acts of vandalism / violence / antisocial behaviour and just general untidiness of this lower race of people.
