Hey Guys
can anyone recommend a waterproof camera which is capable of operating in anything upto 10 feet of water which can take around a 6mp plus picture.

What options are there which are worth looking at ?

thanks for any help on this.

have you considered the purchase of a waterproof housing for your current camera?

Thats what my mate did for diving and it worked a treat, got some great shots of the fishies!

I got a Canon underwater housing for my Ixus 700 and it worked really well. I was only snorkelling but I think it is good to 40m (which I'm not). I've tried cheaper alternatives - film underwater camera, flexible plastic housing - but this was the best solution by far.

The Ixus even has a preset mode for underwater to minimise the blue colour cast.

I have an underwater housing for my IXUS 500. I took this at 26 Meters under with it in the Red sea.

I got the housing from here www.digitaldepot.co.uk . Very good company to deal with IMO

Also try www.digideep.com - they do reviews on there.

Edit to a .com, not a .co.uk
