Gassed to near death by petrol fumes, then baked alive in the heat, but bigger grin than all the porka drivers I met today

Chan, what no a/c then?!

Just had a look at your web-site... can you fix Wayne Rooney for the nation?!

When you say gassed, what do you mean?

Did you have the window open?

If so, have the exhaust checked for cracks, offside, it will be around the pipe that enters the silencer. Gentley push on the silencer and you will see a hairline circular crack. This happened to me and it was a similar smell.

Also check the bracket has not broken.

Does not sound right to me, and if I am correct, it is dangerous.

Thanks Guys

I think it is a question of getting used to the petrol smell, rather than a dangerous intoxication! But Ash I agree that I will and should get things looked over at next visit to the garage. Touched by concern!

Now Rooney has no chance, sorry, even with an ultrasound stimulator and bone stimulating agents. Any other PH bone and joint questions? No fee!

Oh yes I do have AC, maybe I should use it!!

Cheers

On a warm day on track the a/c just gives up and produces hot air.

Mine does this too ......... sometimes.

I think the fumes are coming from the tank breather and somehow getting into the central tunnel then out through the flap over the relays and fuses. Hasn't done it for a few days but due a refill at the weekend so I'm expecting it back again soon
