In addition to my recent wifi woes posted on here, i seem to be having trackpad problems.

Basically the trackpad has stopped working. Then the 2 days ago it worked fine. Then logged on today and not working again.

I have a mouse for the laptop and that workds fine as its going through a USB port.

I havent changed the settings, and it says the trackpad is working fine on the settings bit.

Its only 9 months old so still under warranty which is good, but just get the feeling it isnt broken but a software issue.

Any ideas?

Just thinking out loud but does the trackpad work when the USB mouse is unplugged?

You can disable the trackpad with the function keys. Probably that.

Press the blue Fn key and there is a key in the row of numbers at the top to disable/enable the trackpad.

HURRAH!! That works a treat - thank you so much. It may seem small but i was very close to:

a) calling a 50p a minute support number

or

b) sending the damn thing back thinking it was stuffed.

Cheers, you really dont know how much i feel less stressed.

Thanks!
