Quality - for a guy that started really late in cars (and people were saying was too old to start) to come in to the Brit F3 scene and win the first two round - TOP BLOKE.

I agree. He's on a hiding to nothing with that name, and it didn't help jumping straight into F3. He seems to have got the attitude right, and has made some serious progress over the winter.

Saw him win at Oulton. Very, very accomplished driver in a fierce field.

He's based in London, studying and driver training.

Probably got a harder job on his hands than any other driver at the moment with a name like that.

All the best to him!

I watched the TV highlights at the weekend and thought that the improvement he showed over last season was immense. Really controlled the races well and looked super smooth, and at a real drivers' circuit too.

It was great to see that name back on top again. I hope he can carry the form through the whole season.

He was in F3 last year, wasn't he? Did a few rounds of FBMW the year before

He was and he seemed to have a hard time keeping it on the black stuff.

He was a different driver at Oulton Park, sheer class.

I was at Oulton Park and he was sheer class both on the track and off. In the paddock he was very approachable and friendly nothing was too much trouble for him signing autographs, posing for photographs and generally chatting to the public.
Here are a few of my pictures.

Great shots Geebo. But they look much better whlst loading than they do afterwards which suggests they have been compressed to 750 pixels wide by the PH image display software.

Were they wider than 750 to start with?

If you make them 750 before upload PH does not crush them and jaggies are usually avoided. If they were already 750 then something else is going on ...

I saw Master Senna at Donington last year - mid season and his first or maybe second race I think - he joined the series late. Seemed fast but erratic at that point - which is only to be expected. If he has matured that much in a year I would imagine the spotters will love his potential at the top levels.

LongQ, not sure if you're aware of this (my apologies if you are), but the images are compressed to fit onto the page, hence you will see them as their true size while loading, but they will then be automatically resized to fit within the page. If you click any of the images above they should open in the original size.

Great pics by the way

Many thanks for the info they are 1000 pixels wide. I'll post 750 next time.
He (Senna) struck me as a future F1 star in the making although it is early days.
Some of the drivers in motorsport seen to be very aloof when dealing with the spectators, (in my experience) so he was a breath of fresh air.
