CarZee, you really should keep that squirrel of yours under control....

Edited to add: I was referring to the police incident, not the pensioner!!

Yep, I'm with you Don

However, in that photo, Nathan does look like his either going to break into 'I will survive' or 'What light doth yonder window break? Tis the East, and Basingstoke is the sun'

Matt.

They're renumbering all the stories at the moment. You can't appear to link directly. There is a story about a Police Car flying into a Hyundai and getting written off though.

Yep.. renumbered twice in the last minute or two. Just go to the main page and choose the story..Police Crash Drama.

Funny. I know that road. Its mostly straight. Something funny going there, then...

A few questions spring to mind really.

What speed was he doing?
What is the speed limit for the road?
Why is this guy such a twat!?

Good thing is nobody was hurt though. But it does make you think what noble cause justifies this?

a) No idea
b) Its 40mph along there
c) Well. He was responding to an emergency call. Could have been a life or death thing. Now I know Roadcraft has a section in it about not feeling pressurised into taking risks as its better to get there and help than never arrive BUT we're all human - and he may have felt under considerable stress about getting to help someone in need. No excuse I know but...give 'em a break eh?

Its VERY unlikely that on that particular road he was just hooning.

They do THAT out past Overton

Ohhh. The link is now pointing at the terrible story of a friend of mine who was murdered on holiday in Indonesia.

He made great wine too.

Maybe his BMW Sat Nav instructed him to Annex the underpass so as to further the available roadspace for BMWs

Just typical!

When a normal motorist (NON- ) does something like this he is obviously speeding - YET when a does something like this he is obviously on his way to help someone and hence it's ok.
