a) What speed was he doing?
b) What is the speed limit for the road?
c) Why is this guy such a twat!?
Good thing is nobody was hurt though. But it does make you think what noble cause justifies this?
a) No idea
b) Its 40mph along there
c) Well. He was responding to an emergency call. Could have been a life or death thing. Now I know Roadcraft has a section in it about not feeling pressurised into taking risks as its better to get there and help than never arrive BUT we're all human - and he may have felt under considerable stress about getting to help someone in need. No excuse I know but...give 'em a break eh?
Its VERY unlikely that on that particular road he was just hooning.
They do THAT out past Overton

When a normal motorist (NON-
) does something like this he is obviously speeding - YET when a
does something like this he is obviously on his way to help someone and hence it's ok.
