The car is currently having a 6k service and this is what has cropped up;

new wiper arms required - £22 a pair
new front discs required - £205 a pair
new front pads required - £152 a pair
new slave cylinder required - £213 (+5.75 hrs labour)
new crankshaft oil seal required - £100
two rear tyres required - approx £320 for pair

All in all I'm looking at >£2k for this lot when labour and vat added....

When will it end?? Go on say it never willl!!

I would if I could but I'm not in the UK long enough, I guess that's why my car costs a fortune to run as it's stood doing nothing for most of the year...

Oh well, it'll all be worth it when I get back next month for Le Mans

No need to pay £160 a corner - try Leigh tyres via Flea Bay. Toyos @ £85 a corner and good service allegedly

I am sure in the past a new slave cylinder has cost me about £130

If you're not able to DIY, then getting even a fairly priced Indie starts to cost. Just imagine how happy you're going to be when you get back in and drive though...
