Friend is fitting a temp. sat. nav system in my '98 Chimaera and needs to know if the speedometer works on a speed pulse or a mechanical cable. Thanks in advance.
As Steve says but i will not be good enough, even with an amplifier. The amps you can buy dont work until 2-3mph which means you can crawl along without it knowing. I used a hall effect ic and a little magnet attatched to the drive shaft, perfect, cost less than an amp also!
