Yesterday I had my tubi-style exhaust fitted to my 987 Boxster S by Scuderia Systems in Egham.

I was disappointed with the standard exhaust on the car and wanted more noise. I looked around at a number of options and they were either very expensive or from companies who I had never heard of. I saw a request on pistonheads.com from Manu at Scuderia asking for anyone with a Boxster S who was willing to be the first person to have one fitted in the UK. I jumped at the chance!

The noise is amazing from the exhaust, at low revs it has a very deep sound this tails off at about 3500rpm and then above 4000rpm builds to a nice scream. Really great sound that the Boxster S should have made from the factory. Massive improvement and gives the car a proper sports car soundtrack!

Big thanks to Manu and Ajay at Scuderia Systems in Egham. Call them on 01784 434394 for more details.

Those guys fitted my Tubi to my 997S and I have to agree it makes the car. The best extra I have ever fitted to a car bar none.

Circa £1500 I believe. Ask Manu at Scuderia 01784 434394 for a full price

What about a tubi for the 2.7 Boxster?

Thanks for the clips, it sounds awesome! Visually there doesn't appear to be any real difference over the standard exhaust but the sound makes up for the lack of visual change. Did I hear a missed gearchange?

No visual clue unless you look under the car. It was not a missed gear change, more popping on the over run

Ordered mine this morning - two to three weeks!

Manu @ Scuderia Systems got back to me this morning with the price and details of a recent fitment of the first production systems - DHA's! Must admit it was an easy sell as I've lusted after a Tubi-style for as long as I can remember...

Thanks to DHA for posting the vid's. - they were the icing on the cake!

This bloke clearly likes a Dansk exhaust on a Boxster...
