First part of the article written by Finlay Charles is a nice, positive piece.

I guess it is a fair reflection of how sharply TVR's divide opinion though, and thankfully there are plenty of us on here who fall into the camp who will "dare to be different", and not choose to buy a Porker of some description.

Conway! What an ill-informed idiot - that kind of article makes me fume. Deliberately sensationalist, obviously intending to inflame.

I have absolutely no confidence that his "stranded by two TVRs" is true - it just makes "good" copy. Why let the truth stand in the way of a good story.

No surprises there then, 4Car journalists as split about TVR and its product as the rest of us (as witnessed by many and often interminable threads)!

And one of the very best motoring writers of this or any other era - the late, great Russell Bulgin - summed up TVR thus: 'Two things make me ashamed to be British. Tim Henman and TVR...'

In a way, we should be thankful for his comments.

If the idiots' main audience dress like him and can't drive a car in a straight line without controlling a throttle or steering wheel correctly, we are all better off if they drive cars with driver aids instead of TVR's.
