Just received my tickets for next weekend
Anyone else going ? Should be a really good couple of days.
Fingers crossed for weather like this now.
Last day for online ticket ordering is Monday IIRC.

I'll be there, though not specifically to watch the BTCC

Hopefully will be a good weekend!

well had a fantastic day out. Sunburnt head, and stiff as a board now after walking round all day, but the racing was great

and sorry if anyone saw a CTR and old M5 BMW bombing along the backroads to Oulton park and back, it has to be done

Totally agree. I did that, but was caught oversteering my way to the circuit by the police who looked on rather sternly...I just muttered something about no traction control, slippery surface....

The roads really are fantastic around there...just avoid the pheasants...

Nice pics again, Geoff. Where are the last two taken, Old Hall? It's not an angle I recognise. In the one of Mark Proctor with his front wing coming adrift, Mike Jordan behind him looks like he's about to go grass-cutting...

Cheers

Last 2 were as they exit Knickerbrook. I couldn't get an angle at Old Hall due to a;l the photographers who appeared to be rooted to the spot...

I spent most of the day experimenting with the 2x TC on the Sigma 120-300. The initial impression is very favourable

Oh yeah, I can see it now! I've taken pictures there myself . The extra focal length that the TC gives certainly makes a difference, doesn't it. May have to investigate that route myself...

With the 2x TC the pics need just an extra touch of USM to give them a bit more "pop". Otherwise it's a great combination.

The 1.4x is said to be almost as good as the lens on it's own, but i have the 100-400L too so it would be overkill i think.

WTCC @ Brands this weekend, i can't wait
