Setting up the Cam Timing

Has anyone got a easy to follow guide to set the valve/cam timing on the AJP8.
Just want to get it partly built and turning over(By Hand.

Surely if the piston's are at TDC on 1and4 the valve's will touch or am I being PARANOID

you're setting the lift on overlap, not the maximum lift.
