take her to the roughest, dingiest, smelliest and noisiest places you can find.

(then hopefully, she will choose to stay at home next year.)

Most blokes that take their other halfs for the first year, they never usually want to go back the next time, unless she's hard core!!!

We leave ours at home, who's gonna cook the welcome home meal?

Just the mention of communal loos and absolute lack of creature comforts usually has them running for the hills!

Boys about cars for days on end and tales of 24hr and subsequent

Well it's worked for me over the last 11 years.

My wife`s one of the hard core, still keeps "coming back for more! Tried removing the cats and boxes on the Venom , thought the exhaust noise after a few hundred miles would put her off...err...NOT. Turned out to be a very bad move, now she wants half the Le-Mans driving time as she says driving a GT2 sounding car turns her on! Might try selling it and going down in a Metro next year, in the vein hope that trundling down in a piece of shite will finaly put her off Le-Mans. So if you see a peeded off passenger in a Blue/White striped and very very noisey car.....it`s me!

Nothing good I hope!

I assume we are talking about the Italian Stallion here. Is he making it this year? Hopefully someone will give him a compass so he can find where I am camping this time. I will mail him a map and our pitch details in a few weeks. Mind you I haven't seen him for about 10 years - probably wont recognise him as he told me he has shaved his luscious locks off.

Soon to be married too I hear

Yeah, doing a classy number in Vegas apparently, he's Priscilla and his other half will be Elvis, nice touch. I was hoping he was gonna go, spent a bit of time with him last year and had a reet good time, we did some drinking i seem to recall. Chase him up, put some pressure on him, there's plenty of room for him. Even if he does look like a criminal now..................

You in Houx or Vert this year?

Will be in Houx again.

I will mail him tonight and call him a woosie.

err - actually I might resort to blackmail. I have a Polaroid photo of him somewhere that he might not want seeing the light of day - involving a chocolate member if I recall correctly.......

Can you scan and email to me, that sounds very interesting. Apparently he's saving for Vegas, got his 'save the date' card in the mail. Be easier for me to meet him there as the flights only about $200 from NYC, what a classy guy!!

We'll be in Houx Annexe, same as last year, the year before etc. It seems to do us proud. I'll be in the XC-90 this year, not sure if we're stickering up or not. What did you do with your Griff?

Need to find it first - think it is in the box in the loft.

Griff is still with us - bit greedy I know - but we couldn't part with it.
