What is Faster??
Discussion
In one of MCNs articles a few years ago they did a 600 shootout down the quarter mile. What suprised everyone was that the CBR posted the quickest time with the ZX6 coming in last behind the R6 and GSXR.
I think when you hit the twisty bits the R6 and GSXR would come in to their own.

They are all much of a muchness although the 636 will have the edge. It is a fantastic bike as a package and hugley fast for a litte 636cc bike.
But, in terms of speed in real world terms, the difference between all of these bikes boils down to the skill of the rider.
On a track day, a good rider on a 400 can beat an average rider on an R1.
The difference between these bikes is a matter of a few percent whereas the difference in skills between riders is huge. In terms of track time well over 50%.
