After Matt re-mapped the hire car it was found to be too powerful to handle.

Just kidding...on the way to the airport to drop the chaps off we came across this smoking wreck. Greg insisted on stopping to check it out (morbid git ), and we found the engine to be still running, with the driver having bu66ered off! Greg turned it off while I got a couple of shots off.

Martin.

It was without doubt the strangest crash I have seen!

No idea how it was done so heavily. At first I assumed the driver might still be in the car, so rushed over, engine still running, smoke everywhere radio pumping out "Biggy Smalls" and foot prints in the coolant, showing which direction the driver must have run.

All we could think was that the chap must have not been allowed to drive the car and was running home so as to try and say he was home all along and the car must have been knicked.

or,

He was hammered and legged it so he couldn't be breathalised and loose the insurance cover.

or,

He had knicked the car himself!

Very strange.

Greg....

I've told you about driving after looking at Martin's car! Whilst I perfectly accept the demolished wall, at least I would have expected to just legg it to look at blue sky until your eyes recover, rather than waiting for a posed photo!

Why is Matt smoking a spliff in that image????

Was it Matt driving? I think we should be told?

Either that, or Magnums are rather translucent in Spain.....

Ok alternative explanations;

The wall was built from cavity blocks.
It was built during the winter.
When it got hot the pressure of the trapped air became too much.
The wall exploded into a cloud of dust and broken breeze blocks.
Just as Matt, Martin and chums were passing, in Martin's real car (the one in the picture).
(He's had to sell the Noble cos his Sangria bill is mucho expensivo).
Greg was driving, and saw a cloud of dust ahead thinking "oh my god not again".
Slamming on the brakes the car rolled and landed against the wall leaving tyre marks 4 ft above the pavement.
Having wrestled the overloaded overturned beast to a stop and neatly parking her a verified 25 cms from the kerb the car was pelted by the fragments of exploded breeze blocks resulting in the damage we see before us.
Being spliffed up they pondered "how can we explain this one away?"........

Yep...and Obes slept through the whole thing! (Every time he got in the Scenic he fell asleep)
