Goodwood Fos after show parties??

If there is anything going on you won't get anywhere near unless you're a corporate guest or your name ends with Andretti. I believe if you camp near theres a few partys around the tents which will involve drinking beer and talking cars (Can't get any better than that can it).
I've found the Friday to be the best day for viewing and friendlyness of the crowds, Saturday and Sunday get really busy and it can be difficult to get around never mind see anything.
The Festival of Speed is a great event but as with a lot of motorsport events now is very corporate. All the best veiwing spots are taken up with big tents with wine flowing for invited guests and general hangers on.
I won't make it this year as I'm off to the Le Mans Classic instead. Hopefully this will be geared more towards the enthusiast, but I doubt it.
Still I'm not bitter (much).
