Are you sure your plate is M12 GTO ? and not M12 GTD which was owned by Williams of Bristol on a demo Yellow 2.5L which had a 3R front clam on it.

Even stranger is that she says it's in the classifieds, but I can't see any Yellow M12 in there....

I found the plate, but RAC says that it's on a Smart

Vehicle Details1 for registration number M12GTO
Make MCC
Year of manufacture 1999
Model SMART PURE AUTO (LHD)

And that tallies up with the fact that I saw it on Mole Valley's loan Smart car a few weeks ago.

Or she bought the car from MV and there has been a misunderstanding/cock up on transfering it...

No "tears" as we haven't sold it, and it is currently 'resting' on one of our Smart Cars.

I also think Lady Sarah, must be referring to "M12 GTD", unless she needs glasses, and thinks "GTD" is "GTO" !

I meant "tears" for her if she has been mis-sold something.

M12 GTD seems to be on a silver (not yellow) Noble

Martin, apologies !...see what you meant ("tears for her". Hope that she has not been sold "GTD" thinking it was "GTO".

You could always look at the car to see what the number plate actually reads!

Must be a D thats made to look round.

Check the V5.

Not in England at the mo so can't actually look at car!! Have called Williams and it's M12 GTD as most of you suggested. Feel rather silly now and pretty gutted at the same time. Thankyou for correcting me though, would have been worse if someone had actually wanted to buy it and then i found out.

What! That's the prime reason I use Moley for my servicing. I absolutly love driving that car, not only is it bonkers (thanks to Charles for telling me the "roundabout technique" the stickers just add to the experience (not least they shag your view out of the back....)

Hope this isn't more tears! Spotted aforementioned M12 GTD parked up on the A34, Newcastle, Staffordshire. Hopefully, you're either back in the country or someone very close to you has been given permission to borrow it. The number plate is M12 GTO and is a silver M12. You might just have spotted me beltin' south in the Hyundai Amica Gsi as the lady pushing the pram went past me.
