New Top Gear / Silver Z06

Really depends who does the review. If Hamster does it, he'll be reasonable on value and perfornmance, but question the plastic interior. Both the car and Hamster will get ripped by Jezza afterwards.
If Jezza does it, it'll get slaughtered by his American car prejudice and the good points will probably be ignored.
If Captain Slow does it, nah... can't imagine that happening.
At the end of the day guys, it's entertainment rather than quality motoring journalism. I'm quite happy if they rip it as hopefully not too many other people will be tempted to buy one, and Vette owners can retain a little exclusivity.

Jezza quite likes it, but isn't prepared to admit it too openly
. In both his column in The Times and on the Heaven & Hell DVD, he faults the car for being a Corvette [in his words: "So obviously it's rubbish"] but can't actually find anything significantly wrong with it and so has to whisper out "I actually like it". It'll be interesting to see what they say on Top Gear, but as Seefive says, you shouldn't take them seriously whatever they say

I took my C5 down to a filming of TG last November. To be fair I went in convoy with my mates '70 Charger 500 and both Hammond & Slow were all over them. As said above - what's said on camera is designed to be provocative. Off camera they were completely different. Except Clarkson of course...
