Window not closing properly
Discussion
Good news is that in a massive downpour today, not one apparant sign of water ingress into the Tam (oooo, I shouldn't have said that, should I?).
But... noticed that the drivers door window is not closing properly. It seems to be up as high as it goes, but it's not meeting the A pillar/windscreen. Just meets the rubber window seal, and I can get my finger in the gap for the length of the leading edge of the window between it and the A pillar/windscreen. Not sure how long it's been like this - so much to look at when you first get one that you miss bits!
Going to drop into Racing Green on my way home to Dorset from Peterborough on Friday, but just wondered if anyone might have any ideas that I could try and maybe save myself a detour. And, as I am incredibly impatient, try NOW!
BTW The coolant overspill I posted on Sunday just seemed to be excess coolant in the reservoir. Performed faultlessly on a 300 mile trip, with not a sign of overheating.

Hi Lee, I had this prob with my T350c, which have the same doors as a Tamora.
Its quite an easy fix, but requires a bit of dismantling of the door. Here goes.... Firstly you need to remove the door card, You will have to lay on the floor and locate the plastic gromets on the bottom of the door, remove these.
You will the see through the holes the fixing screws, in my case they were of the Allen headed bolts, and i think there were three of them?.
remove these, and lift the card up and off the door, you may find it comes off more easy if you wind the window fully down first.
Behind the panel is a rubber sheet, which is stuck on with double sided tape, peel this off carefully.
Now you should see all the workings of the window??
The bit you are looking for is right at the top, and in the centre of the door.
Its a small piece of threaded studding with a lock nut on it.
Loosen off the nut, and lower the studding down a few mm at a time, you will need to be sitting in the car with the door shut to test your adjustment, some fine tuning will be required, be careful not to wind the studding down to far, as this will cause undue strain on the winding motor.....
Remember to re lock the nut before re-assembly.
Let me know how you get on will ya.
Dave

Got the roof off today, and it's definitely the window - not the fact that the roof seal is askew.
As I'm living out of a hotel this week, with no tools, I'll not be able to sort out the door myself - but thanks for the info Dave. I'm going to try to drop into Racing Green on my way home on Friday, and hopefully get them to sort it. If I do I'll stay in the workshop and check it out and let you know.
If not, I'll attempt it over the weekend - and let you know also.
Anyhow, cheers Dave.

Ah. Nice to be part of the club....
Looks like mine is sitting too far back in the door. I've also noticed a metallic rattle on closing the door, and the window seems to be operating much slower than the passenger side.
I'll def post an update after I've been into Racing Green on Friday; it's stupid but it's really bugging me!
Still, took advantage of the nice evening and cleaned and polished the car. Strange looks from other hotel residents, but who cares?! And it justified the beers with dinner.

Glad to hear I'm not the only saddo with bottles of waterless cleaner and polishes in the boot!!
Yessss Maddog, really enjoying it......
Thanks for the advice on the window thing Richard. I'm def going to Racing Green Friday (traffic from Peterborough allowing)but at least I know what it is all about. And if I don't get there, looks like I know waht I'll be doing Saturday morning. BTW is it just a matter of priseing(sp?) the door card off?
