I am looking to purchase my first TVR this summer and don't know whether to buy a Tuscan or Cerbie 4.5.

I like the price and performance of the Cerbera (and yes it's still gorgeous) but I think the Tuscan looks better and the performance doesn't appear to be that far behind.

I know it's a personal decision but can anyone give me their experience? Is there anyone who owns or has owned both?

Also is the Tuscan S much more driver-friendly than the conventional Tuscan?

I'd appreciate any help or comments.

there has been quite a few recent posts by perspective buyers of the Tuscan or Cerbie in the last few months. You may find some useful information if you try the "search forums" and type in some key words.

From what I've read on here it seems that both are very different to drive, I've heard of a few Cerbera 4.5 owners who have gone onto a Tuscan and have regretted it or gone back to cerb ownership. Best bet is to blag a test drive of both to see which camp you belong to. Performance wise between Tuscan S and Cerbera 4.5 is marginal, on paper it seems the Tuscan has the edge but in practice I hear that the Cerbera 4.5 is faster (particularly at 150mph+). The cerb has always been my first choice but the road presence of a Tuscan is something else! I've never test driven a Tuscan so cannot compare the two for driving experience, sorry!
