These were again taken with my 20D with the 70-300mm IS USM lens. These shots have simply been cropped, re-sized, and the brightness and contrast has been adjusted.

The rest of the shots can be seen here - http://oliverwhittaker6200.fotopic.ne

Any feedback most welcome.
Thanks,
Oliver

I'm sure it's been asked a thousand times, but how do you get into things like this?

Just turn up at Silverstone and in you go - it's free admission for F1 test days

The dates are on Silverstones website.

That's something worth remembering for days off work when I'm stuck thinking of things to do!

Couldn't actually see the dates, might just give them a bell and find out.

these were the provisional dates at the start of the year:

February 27th - 28th
April 25th - 27th
September 19th - 21th
October 11th - 12th

As ever with these things, its hit and miss who will turn up until the week before, always best to phone silverstone first before you make a trip.

Normally it's Luffield only, but when I went last Sept you could walk from Bridge all the way to Copse (but seats on pit straight were closed). Luffield is still good - the cars can be really twitchy thru the complex while they are trying different set ups, and then it's full power towards the grid.

We also paid £10 to access the pits / paddock at lunchtime. Most teams had screens in front of their garages but Jordan and Red Bull were fully on view. Then spent the 1st part of the afternoon session on the inside of the circuit past Copse - felt like we could've walked further if we wanted to.
