Seatbelts

Does anyone know what the seat belts are out of in a '96 Chim? My passenger belt does not retract very well and I would like to replace it, either that or find someone who can refurb it with a stronger retract mechanism.

I could not see anything, had the seat all the way forward so I could pull the belt all the way out and check for things catching it but it all appeared fine, just very slow in retracting.

Apparently they're all a bit poor, especially if the car is on a slope. 1st numpty mistake I made on getting my Chimaera was to fiddle with the passenger seatbelt. It had retracted too far and wouldn't come out at all, so I had a fiddle with it and destroyed it completely! 1st month with the car, lovely early June weather and I could only go out in the car alone - other half not happy!
