Have recently moved nr Gloucester, but haven't seen many fellow TVRs on the road to wave at! Are there any meets amongst people in Herefordshire/Gloucestershire area or do you go to Bristol/Midlands TVRCC meets instead?

Chrissy,
We are in Gloucester, Hempsted, we don't see many TVRs either!! Welcome to the area. There are meets, I went to one at the Hunters lodge a couple of weeks ago, the first time I have met other TVR owners, any all very welcoming and friendlt indeed.
Have you joined the TVR owners club? they have a list of local meets.
maybe see you around!

I've not heard of any gloucestershire TVRCC meets, seems to be covered by Bristol.

Broughtons in Cheltenham used to be a TVR dealer so there are quite a few around here.

I think they're called Three Counties Region, as in Choirs or Wine, or is it Cotswold? www.tvrcc.com/regions.htm

Bristol meet was today, but missed it due to leaving South Coast too late. Did see another Chim in Chepstow.

I'm in a village between Glos and Bristol. There's a couple of Cerb's in back gardens but never seen/heard them on the road. Also pass an S occasionally. Not bad for a small place.

Hi guys,

You are right, Cotswold 3 Counties is the local TVRCC region that covers Gloucestershire. Sorry, missed this thread until now.

Was good to meet up with oiltrash yesterday at the regular monthly meet although didn't realise we had already conversed about Optimax garages. Sorry it was so hectic at the Edge pub yesterday and hope you can join us again soon Alex. I guess you probably missed Chris and Chan as they turned up a bit later - maybe we should all wear PH namebadges whenever we leave the house, now where have I seen that before?

Anybody else that would like to come along for a chat, you'd be very welcome. Details of our meetings are on the inside back page of Sprint or if you prefer drop me an e mail via my profile. Yesterday's meeting can be found here: www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?f=13&h=0&t=27514 when we were pleased to see a convoy from S. Wales region rumble into the car park at the Edge. We are in the process of planning this year's activities and are always on the lookout for good ideas so come along and chip in. The first event, a tuition session at Bruntingthorpe is already well advanced in the planning stage.

I've missed this thread as well

Yup there are plenty of TVR owners in the Glos area, come on boys and girls lets see you at a meet one evening/afternoon

Infact there is a bit of accelaration going on at the moment! Or maybe it's more of a refuel before what should be a full blown year of optimaxing!

cheers

Hi Chrissy, Wiltshire isn't a million miles away (depending on whereabouts in Glos you are).

Take a look at www.tvrcc-wiltshire.co.uk for info (unashamed plug!)

..........And Bristol Region meets 3rd sundays at the Golden Heart Winterbourne which is North of Bristol 10 min from the M4/M5 interchange. 30 min max from M5 Junction 12 if that helps. Why not visit us all!

Thanks for all the suggestions!!! Paul, I am having trouble accessing the TVRCC wiltshire web-site when and where do you guys/girls meet up?

Anyone elselive in/around Forest of Dean, perhaps we could arrange for a meet come Springtime?

Chris, not sure why you had probs with the web site. N.E.Way, we have monthly meets but not at any particular venue.
Feb's meeting (26th) is at Monkton Farleigh near Bradford-on-Avon, and March's is at The George, Sandy Lane, near Chippenham.
A trip to the Forest of Dean sounds good - good roads and wooly chicanes (though not too many of those about since Foot & Mouth).

But check the diary at www.tvrcc-bristol.co.uk as we are really getting out and about this year. Looks like it's going to be a good-un.

I'm going to have to try harder to visit the neighbouring areas... sorry I missed C3C. Hope I'm not presuming by giving an open invite to Tivvers to the Bristol meet this Sunday.

See Nacnuds post for the bristol website and directions
