Sorry for the multiple threads.
Can anyone tell me how the exhaust manifolds are sealed to the heads. It looks like some kind of high temerature sealant on mine.
Should there be gaskets like on the Chimaera?
What is the best stuff to use?

You can try bathroom silicone sealant - well used by the drag racing boys and I think PHer DIYCERB has used it on his with success.
Does that withstand the heat OK?
Or you could use the proper stuff - RTV high temperature silicone, made by Holdtite
