Did I or didnt I?
Discussion
Comin home late one night earlier this week when a camera flashed. i assumed it was me (about 45 in a 30). On looking at the camera again today I'm beginning to think maybe it was the car just gone through the other way. There are no road markings on the side of the road I was driving and I was facing a traditional style camera. Do these do oncoming traffic?
Any suggestions?
Any suggestions?
I've seen 'em flash when I've been oncoming several times -if it's a standard GATSO then it (as far as I know) will be only the cars going away from iot that it will take valid pics of...but then again it's probalby only a software upgrade away from taking a piccie of you speeding hfrom 5 miles away at any angle!!!!
This happened to me a few weeks back, and has since started happening to me at least once a week on the same camera... If the camera is on the opposite side of the road and there are no markings on your side then you'll be ok...

haha so hopefully my nine year unblemished record continues. More by luck than judgement. I got up to 11 points and starting panicking. slowed down for a while then moved house. sent my licence away for change of address and voila came back clean. So the DVLA do some things right. Now how jammy was that?
