ok guys

i try to do all the loud work in weekdays before 6 pm but i am nearly finished with stage 2 ie all the metal fab

so the fun will start soon

everything is up in the air at the moment as i am spending most of my time sorting out the new monaro as some idiot in a nissan patrol decided to park in my boot

5 months old and now the boot don't shut

oh and he thinks its my fault

but assembly will start soon after the floor has been dropped to fit me in the car

I live down the coast near Hedge End. I finished my GTR (Now sadly sold) in 2002. I'd be happy to help out with any advice/technical help as and when needed. I'm sure as mentioned above, Steve D would be happy to help. Try sticking a post in the Ultima section if you need any support.

hi guys

its upside down on hold at the moment after going to stonleigh

i sat in the demo ultima with the lowered floor and i dont fit

so i am looking at ways to modify the floor so i can fit

so waiting on a welder to come round and have a look

What thoughts have you on producing the required head room?
Some have looked at an even deeper drop floor and raising the ride height to compensate. Others have used a seat with more rake so you are sitting in a more horizontal position.
Did you just sit in the car at the show or actually discuss the problem with a 'Factory' person? I seem to remember another post where this was discussed and the factory were working with someone on resolving their issues.

i sat in it and discussed it with them

it had the dropped floor

and i was in the bars at the top

so i may convert to a convertable can am

so looking at the changes needed to change the chassis to the can am

going to newark to have another look
