So, is there going to be a big Cerbera event this year?

I'm just sitting here thinking about how much fun CREAM was last year, and how it would be great to go out and do something similar again this year.

Obviously Graham's enthusiasm has moved on to his Driving Adventures.

So, do we need to start thinking about an exclusive Cerbera event?

How about something like a full day's event...

Meet for Breakfast, run out during the day, lunch/barbeque somewhere for the afternoon, and an evening Track Day at a circuit.

Just a toe in the water, but with enough interest anything's doable!

BIG difference - Driving Adventures is business interest while C.R.E.A.M was / is pleasure, not to mention a HUGE personal / commercial risk.

Cold light of day facts are C.R.E.A.M was originally planned as a bi annual event, but after
we had so much fun last year, I tried for a 2006 event but venue / dates didn't match up.

Already have 2007 C.R.E.A.M plans underway..

It would be an excellent idea to hold such an event around and existing venue so it saves to much extra administration for somebody. I'm sure staging a one off event becomes nearly a full time job for somebody.

Not taken as one in any shape or form Tim.

I really wanted C.R.E.A.M to happen again this year, but it simply was not possible in the end.
The venue we used last year can't be used again for 'environmental' reasons and the only venues
with dates that I could work with, were not cost effective for such an event.

So 2007 it has to be...

Very good call Tim. How about a meet at Donington Park Race Circuit, plenty of space, just off M1, so it's relatively accessible for most, we could combine it with an open lane track evening . If ever there was a cerbera circuit, it's this place!!

Also, its adjacent some cracking Derbyshire driving scenery & Donington Park has just undergone massive facilities improvements so there will be plenty to look at. There's also the Grand Prix museum to keep the families entertained

They've got the Melbourne loop bit which we could maybe hire off separately for drifting practice ( cant believe i'm suggesting such a thing, but i saw it done recently & it looked really good fun! )

I've contacted MotorSportVision for hire charges for an afternoon/evening session.

I know that the 200sxoc recently did this with Brands so I'll see what sort of figures we're working with.

Will also contact Donnington to see if they're favourable towards the idea.

I'm not commiting to anything yet, as it all boils down to cost and interest. But it would be interesting to see how many people would be up for a Cerb' day.

Off the top of my head I guess we're looking at a cost of approximately £150 for the day.
