Manual 6 speed, 77,000 miles, Metallic Blue. ABSOLUTELY AWESOME VEHICLE WHICH HAS BEEN SENSIBLY AND EXPERTLY TUNED AND TWEAKED TO GIVE A RELIABLE 600BHP AT 1.05 BOOST!!. Must be seen to be appreciated - full GT2 carbon fibre wing extensions, one piece tailgate/GT2 spoiler, 18" BBS splitrims, H.I.D headlights, carbon fibre front spoiler, bilstein suspension, apexi in car adjustable boost - presets to 0.6/0.7/0.8/1.05 bar, Tracker, CAT 1 alarm e.t.c e.t.c. The car comes with a full service history, all owners traced and documented, previous M.O.T's, and a folder bulging with receipts - most of the work has been done by SPECIALIST CARS of MALTON including a full renovation of the bodywork at 75k miles costine in excess of £12,000 - receipts in total are in excess of £35,000. Previously sold by CLASSIC CAR WORKSHOP in Coppull approx 2 1/2 years ago (and the car was in perfectly good condition then) the current keeper has spared no expense in maintaining and making even better this awesome piece of German engineering. The car is running genuine GT2 turbo's which will run at a higher boost but the car has been designed to be useable and reliable on an every day basis. SERIOUS ENQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE - AND TEST DRIVES STRICTLY BY APPOINTMENT WITH PROOF OF I.D. Any independent inspection is welcome as the vehicle cannot be faulted. £44,995

Love it, but reading between the lines, you'd only bother doing a 'full renovation of the bodywork' on a 993 if it'd been badly spanked or stacked and badly repaired. My 12 yr old 993 still has fantastic bodywork and could be turned into a GT2 replica without requiring bodywork renovation.
I'd first want to find out whether the original shell basis for the car was a write-off of any sort...

Hi Johnny,
E mailed you separately.
Hope to get to Croft.
You betta!!!!
It's quick, no question, i remember seeing it showing somewhere around 520bhp at Weltmeister's rolling road (so should be pretty accurate) but it was running reduced boost because Jim (mjims) couldn't find a local petrol station that had decent fuel!
Sounds glorious, looks amazing, and has had a lot of money spent on it. If you're in any doubt, call the owner and have a chat with him - he's a proper enthusiast, one of us.
