Me and my Manifold

Ok me Manifold has a hole in it. well actually a crack. It is right at the bottom and easily accessible. Has any one tried welding them before? Is it do-able.

Also the centre box is still black and clean (except for the scrape marks from the dirt track I live on) however the rest of the system is rusting. Any ideas why? Is there something I can do to prolong the life of the rest of the system.

Preping car for MOT in June. So any other things to check on???

Yep, if you can get it up to Kent bring it over.

Manifold is easy to weld,dont worry about the rust on the rest of the system.

Got to say a massive thanks to FrenchTVR and Wedgegirl for their hospitality and help.
The car sounded awesome all the way home ( made up for getting soaking wet lol) and I am still shaking from some of the dodgy overtaking I had to do in order to get home before midnight ( Sunday drivers GRRR!)
