I have a graunching/ creaking noise coming at present from the rear of the car when cornering. I have had this noise before but only when the weather was really cold. I assumed it was that everything was cold and tight. However lovely warm day today and the noise is back. Is it something to worry about? I had the chassis fully prepared and waxoyled 2 years ago and only waxoyled it myself last month. Any advice would be most welcome. Thanks

Doubt it's the chassis itself which shouldn't really move at all...

I'd check your suspension bushes...

If it does it under acceleration / engine braking, it could be a differential mounting bushing.

Might be worth while checking the ARB bushes, they go under load when cornering.

or even the ARB droplinks, which snap. Steve Heath does nice rose jointed replacements.
