First part of the Trip to look forward to so was just wondering what they are like?

Not much cop I'm afraid - coffee and a cake kind of thing. If you want a fry up you're better off hitting the services on the way down.

Like Alan said, coissants, danishes, crisps and choccy bars. It's quite expensive too as there is no competition.

Last year, we were on the first sailing of the day, and there wasnt any at all.

about 5 miles out of Dover there's a tesco's. they do a good breakfast... or, the other side, there quite a nice collection of places in Boulogne

Looks like we may have to stop on the way to dover! Can't drive all that way on an empty stomach!

I understand - you get seasick. In that case stick to oranges for breakfast.

If your life depended on a SpeedFerries breakfast you'd probably die of starvation; full English they ain't and if the Vomit Comet is living up to its name, by the time you get back to your seat, your coffee will no longer be in its cup.
