Anyone tried this before, or something similar:

Theres a couple of scratches on the windscreen below the drivers vision and I'm sure some very minor scratchs produce more glare at night.

I am guessing its just some slightly abrasave polish such a t-cut or G3 rubbing compound.
It should be ok for removing the finest of scratches / swirl marks but anything much deeper and either it wouldn't work or your'll make your windscreen glass that little bit thinner, thus reducing the intergity of it.

Brasso will do the trick - well it works good on watch glass's

Just tried that on my watch - the scratch has vanished - I'm amazed. Will give it ago on the windscreen.
