Mirrors...

I couple of observations about the electric mirrors.

1) While driving along a black box marked 'mirror control unit' dropped between my legs. It looks like it should be glued to something, at the moment I've just stuffed it back up behind the dash. Any recommendations of how to secure it properly? Glue (to what)? Zip tie (where)?

2) A week or so after the above event, shortly after starting the car the mirrors did what seemed to be a test cycle, up-right-down-left, twice before returning to their normal position. Is this normal?

Knowing TVR, I expect the string holding it up broke!

Close, the velcro strips which hold it up had come unglued...
