Window acting strange!!

This is my first post and problem since I bought the Cerb back in Nov.
Last weekend the tip of the reed sensor at the base of the passenger door broke, the door and window still worked but I decided to replace it. I bought the part from RS and attempted to fit it yesterday evening. I followed all the advice on various other posts as how this is done.
The problem I have now is that when I close the door the window will not go up to the required close point, but when I open the door it goes right to the top. It's seems to be doing the opposite to what it should.

Anyone any ideas?? they would be greatly appreciated.

I done the same thing with mine, did you get the correct switch..... the one with 3 wires? This previous thread should help you.

I actually bought 2 different ones. The one with the 3 wires and another one (part no. 289-7957) with two wires, this may be my problem. I only tried fitting the 2 wired one before bad light forced me indoors. I'll replace it with the 3 wired one this evening and let you know how I get on.
