CA-Automotive HID kits

Anyone on here installed the CA-Automitive HID kits in their cars (particularly 993)?

If so, how easy was it and how was the quality of the kit?

Should be exactly the same, but i'd say the aftermarket kit i fitted was noticeably brighter than the factory kit. Not surprising, since the factory kit was a 1998 vintage and the aftermarket Philips kit i bought was in 2004/5 - you never know how much the technology could have improved in that time. after a quick read though for cars with a single bulb for high / low beam eg 964 / 911 / 924 / 944 lose high beam functionality?

Guess that means its just on one setting all the time? Can see oncoming drivers loving that!

www.HIDS4U.co.uk have full hi/lo functionality. I've been enquiring for my 964, though I need shorter versions than the regular as I will not be boring 25mm holes in the back of the headlamp/wing to accomodate anything.

Keep us updated, I would love to upgrade my very poor bosch candles fitted to my 964, but like you I'm not prepared to go drilling big holes anywhere. Its not exactly Porsche is it more max power!

I should have a kit arriving next week for my old Audi, I'm using it as a test mule, it will have or should have a hybrid setup which means a shorter lamp length We'll see how it goes and then report back.
