Strange Alarm / Immobiliser Fault.

The alarm unit on my Chimaera froze recently when i locked the car. All indicators stayed on and the car did not lock. After having the alarm (a foxguard unit) overhauled I can now lock and unlock the car yet once i start the car the engine will not switch off! Turning the key in the barrel and even removing the key wont stop it - any ideas?
