I would love to as I have a Porsche Open race at Cadwell planned for July 1/2 but as I am a rent-a-drive(r)I am reliant on a (reasonable) car being available. Any offers?

Jason,
we should be in the same race then.....what you got?
Commiserations to those with family committments- with 3 kids and a wife I do understand. Missing the wifes Birthday being away for cadwell myself....but it is a great circuit

Hi Mike. I am driving a Blackbird-powered T5 Mission (Sports racing car looks a bit like a Radical). But the car is better than me!

I am number 2. Look forward to meeting you. Will be a busy day.

Query your definition of warm but dry will be good. First race there was in heavy rain - not a great place in the wet.

If you've got a tin top and want to do a 30min quali and 40 min - pit stop race (so can be 2 drivers) then go to
www.classicsportscarclub.co.uk
then to fixtures page for a race at Donington Park, Sun 4th June! Other races are for Ferrari Open and Classic, Porsches and Formula Juniors, and 40 min race for Swinging Sixties too.

If you do go, pictures of the yellow Atom would be appreciated. Many thanks

Well done to everyone who survived the rain and carnage. Just a shame the Atom never passed scrutineering that would've been good!

The rain and hale combined with some poor driving standards led to a pretty expensive and abandoned first race. I've done plenty of wet racing but was amazed how some were not taking into account zero visibilty and standing water. 2 cars badly damaged by the first corner, then a further 3 at the same place the next lap ( no red flag so a damaged Westfield was then hit by a sliding porsche)I retired (undamaged) at that point as it was clearly going to get expensive. Restarted race then abandoned after further crashes!
Would have probably been OK if it had stayed dry but a bit more ambition than talent from a number of drivers
