Does anyone know this Black 5 Litre

Hi Everyone,
I am thinking of buying a Black Chimaera 500 and was hoping for some advice from you guys.
Particularly if anyone knows the car. The details are as follows:
2000 W Reg - 5.0 Litre
Mileage 35K
Cream/Tan Leather
Full TVR / Specialist history.
5 Previous owners and the following Reg Plates over the years:
W852WVT, V8RCA, M17GOR, C10LNS.
Offered for £18k
Looks a lovely example, starts and drives nicely and I'm getting my mechanic friend to have a look tomorrow (& jack it up) before deciding on whether to purchase..

Thats the only bad thing about it.... but seriously everything else is mint above the wheels.
I wasn't chuffed when I saw the 5 owners bit but all the history is there, TVR Engineering, HL Gorner and SFR Engineering.
It drove beautifully and passed all the usual tests (no pulls when driving or braking, temp etc)
As I said I'll be able to give some detail on the chassis tomorrow hopefully.
It might just be an unlucky car which has had five people who all needed to move on.

I took a friend who's a mechanic round today for an inspection and he gave it a thorough once over.
He found a few minor issues including a seat belt tensioner not working properly and a small paint defect at the point where the skirt meets the side of the car.
But I think I got quite a good deal out of it and now the excitement can begin!
as well as the closing of all my savings accounts......
