I've got adaptive sports seats in my 997, and have programmed my and Mrs DC's preferred seat positions into buttons two and three respectively - great!
Now, according the the manual, press the memory button and button 1 whilst the ignition is on and the current seat position will be stored for that key, so whenever you unlock, it will set to that position.
Only it doesn't! No matter what I do, unlocking the car does not move the seats one jot.
What am I doing wrong? Anyone else had this problem?

Cheers,

Chris

Know it sounds obvious, but are you using different keys in the ignition when you set the seat positions ?
If you both use the same key, then you can only program one seat setting to that key.

Yep - I'm using both keys. Memorising different postions for both, then locking with one key, opening with the other (so the seat should adjust to the new key position).
Even if I change the seat position after memorising to the key, then lock and unlock, nothing happens.

With my Boxster, it always worked fine. I can't see what's different with the 997 - unless something's not working as it should ...
