Remote Central Locking for an early Chimaera

Is it a relatively cheap/simple operation to fit a remote central locking system to an early Chimaera as the standard system is doing my head in!

Yup, had it done a few weeks ago..... £188 including VAT. I now have a plipper, one plip and walk away. Had it done at Premier Alarms in Milton Keynes.

My handbook tells me I have a plipper (as it states plipper code: and lists a number.) however I have no plipper.. I'd be interested in hearing more about this
