Parts...

Hello all, am torn between a Chim and a Cerb and was just wondering where do people get their Cerb parts from, such as brake discs etc... (Not a main dealer).

the reason I ask is that I can do a lot of the normal work myself, such as brakes, etc...

Now I know the Chim uses a lot of Ford parts, but what about the Cerb?

That's a good question. There used to be a sticky about parts at the top of this forum but it appears to have disappeared now.

Cerb's are a lot harder to get bits for ( as I'm finding out) as much more of the car was bespoke to TVR, Steering racks for example, the bracke discs and clutch are bespoke, hubs aren't ( Jeep Cherokee) and a few odd bits off the Rover V8 ( alternator, oil pressure switch) CV joints MKIII Granada. They can still be worked on by the home mechanic though things are more difficult as the cars are considerably more 'quirky'
