Herr Schröder was the first German chancellor to take advantage of a populist media supported election campaign.
He was the first German politician to be elected for his smiling face on TV, the publicity for his 'modern' family background, etc., etc.; and not for political ability IMHO.
He was the first person to exploit that 80% (est.) of the population are not educated well enough, to make a conscientious decision for their vote.
And now (and already before) he doesn't want the media to publish guesses that could harm his populist public appearance.
WTF?
Don't we all have to face the downsides of our doings, when we enjoyed the upsides before?
Double standards is the worst thing one can do to others

Bodo, of course he's taking the p*ss. He's as bad as BLiar, no in fact worse, as he claims to be thruthful. The last election promises proved him wrong 10 days after the election he said they'd have to raise taxes where before he'd promised not to! Politicians deserve one thing only, a 9mm at 300ft/sec between the eyes.... 'cos they're ALL Pookin liars!!!!!!
A joke but too true,
the similarity between Audi and Schröder?
4 rings!
(for the uninitiated he's been married 4 times and lets be realistic no matter how chauvinistic you are, ALL 4 women wrong??? I doubt it!)

What made me laugh was the fact that he insisted that the injunction he had obtained from a Hamburg court could be enforced in this country..
Obviously, him & Chirac want exactly that - ie that court orders are enforceable across Europe... but it ain't happened yet - christ help us when it does though...
