hey folks, im from aberdeen, just bought my new tvr t350t at the weekend, used, has 11,000 miles and a 53 plate, spectraflair silver with the dark gun metal grey wheels and i absolutely love it, such a event to drive every time i get behind the wheel!

very pleased with it so far, as i expected theres a few wee niggles to sort but all in all seems fine, bought in high wycombe and drove 400 miles to aberdeen at the weekend with no problems, did notice the gear knob and handbrake heating up after a few hours though, conducting heat from the transmission possibly?? anyone else notice this? and above 80 get a bit of windnoise from the removable panels.

the acceleration is simply amazing compared to the 3.2 v6 alfa gta i used to drive and the car also has the tvrpower supersports exhausts which makes a crazy sound, pops and bangs like . but my guess is that its probably not legal, anyone else had a problem with police with this exhaust?
no point in a stereo really is there!

cheers

graham

Congrats to you. I hope it gives you all the pleasure mine has given me. Welcome to the TVR family. You will have a big smile while driving for a long time to come. Good Luck.

"They All Do That Sir!" - as you may hear from time to time! The engine produces plenty of heat and, given you've got a nice fibreglass body to keep all that heat in , it all has to go somewhere! I think all the SP6s "enjoy" a nice warm gear stick, together with a generally warm passenger side (from the manifolds on the near side just in front of the passenger) and mine even has a nice little gap at the side of the transmission tunnel for plenty of extra passenger heating!!!!

Congratulations on choosing the best looking Tiv of all time. TVRPower SuperSport should be legal as it is sold by a TVR owned company (but I don't care anyway). Noise from pods can be reduced greatly with some careful repositioning and patience. Enjoy and be careful out there

Nice one, hollowlegs - get a picture up on your profile so we can see it.

And yes, Mr Bulgaria, the T350 is the prettiest TVR ever. The Griff is a J-Lo car - you would, but you would have endless occasional misgivings (and jokes) about "that read end"

I may agree about the Tuscan S but certainly not the standard Tuscan.
And no arguements whatsoever about Kylie's!

Oh yes, oh yes, you have picked the dogs danglies my son. A pure pleasure, although sports exhaust from experience can be a bit of a drone at constant motorway speeds. So take another day, a different route and enjoy one of the best driving experiences going.

Don't get rid of the Tamora to buy a T350 - you'll be dissapointed with the harsh ride. (Relative to the Tamora)

Just swapped my Tam for T350t and one thing i noticed was that the ride is firmer? would have thought they were the same?

Nope. Tamora is much more compliant - more like the Sagaris.

Ok, am curious. As I remember the Tamora and T350 started with the same chassis and geometry, but after the Sagaris was played with by Bilstein the changes were, at least partly, migrated back into the others. So surely this would depend on the age of the car as to which geo you got ?

Not really that clear. We had a T350 2004 model year on the standard Harvey Bailley suspension. We have a 2005 Tamora on Harvey BAilley suspension. It is these two cars that I compare with each other and our 2005 Sagaris on standard Bilstein suspension. (all on std 18s)
