Matt, sorry for not seeing this sooner.
MR Performance are great guys with years of Pork expriance between them. You might trip over the odd flat six lying on the garage floor (as I did last time I was there
), but do not let that put you off. However these guys tend to focus on the early Porsche (upto 964) however I'm sure they would manage a 993. They are also the folks the OPC in Bournemouth ring, when they can't fix an aircooled car.
Steve Bull is also excellent and dare I say a bit more professional in his set-up. Steve is also really good if you want more than just a service and are thinking about upgrades, etc.He also judges for the PCGB so knows his stuff.
For me, I take my 964 C2 to Steve for the big services 12K and 24K and MR for the little 3-6k services - they are about 4 miles from me) . My last service with MR was a princely £199 (inc VAT). Can't be bad.
