Brightening a grey day at Donington.

Popped up to the park on Sunday afternoon and it turned out to be the monthly Smart meet day which seems to be steadily growing in numbers.

These two examples caught my eye.

The smart meet up at Donington runs the middle of each month. I used to help co run the event, although i haven't been up there for a while. Nice shot btw, they certainly seem to stand out from the crowd.

Yep, I discovered a calendar for the events on the smartmania web site (url in the rear window of the pink one.) Pretty sure a few people turn up most weekends though.

The shot was grabbed through the car window (stopped rather than moving) as I passed by going elsewhere. The light was not great - too much dynamic range for digital really - but for some reason seemed to work quite well for the paint job on the pink one.
