Cause we are so disorganised and refused to pay the going rates for the Houx, we are now the proud owners of Beausejour tickets.

Is anyone else going down there?

Just the gold aviators to get now!!

think we are doing a 6:00am crossing.

Anyone going on the thursday?

Got convoy (well ok 2 cars) of Exige and 360 (hopefully stickered up to the hilt).

You will spot us as the peps with the huge paddling pool. And bugger all else.

This will be our first time at Le mans. Staying at beausejour but won't be there until Friday lunchtime - are we going to have problems finding a place?

There was still a reasonable amount of room at the bottom of the campsite last year around Friday lunchtime, but by late afternoon it was definitely getting "cosy".

We will be getting there on Wed this year to watch some of the qualifying.

We got there about 4pm if I remember correctly and were down the end. The space was gone within an hour of us parking up.

Bloody hell.... my mates are still arsing around which ferry tickets to buy.

'should we go on this on' and 'should we go on that on' prices have just gone up dramatically and you know what, they still haven't made their minds up.

I shall be swimming across the channel to get to Le Mans this year.

No idea, thats why we have a huge paddling pool and it keeps the alcohol cool. Knowing our luck there are no hose pipes to fill it up.

www.outdoorgear.co.uk/eshop.asp?wci=product&wce=53902001&affid=48181 one of these and hope for some sun If its raining, they you have a natural shower

didnt see any impressive facilities listed for Beausejour, (which may explain why the site is downwind of everyone else !! )

Beausejour did have showers last year. The ones near us were kept pretty clean by the attendant (as were the loos). Never seemed to have hot water though, but in the heat that wasn't an issue for us.

We took the solar bags and stuck them on the roof of the car to warm up, great for a quick wash. Plus there's always wet wipes

Thats what i was thinking ... put on the bonnet .... cars black so should half the "cooking time", and for a "fast boil" just turn the engine on for 10 minutes
