Hi Guys and Gals,

I think the baffles in the silencers are crumbling as there is a lot of rattling coming from under the car. Not being in the position to upgrade as yet, would it be possible just to cut them out and put straight pipes in (being a cheap skate)? If so, how much noiser would the car be?

Personaly I would like it to be as loud as poss. However, the other half would probably have something to say about it

You dont say what the car is, but assuming it's a 'Ro (based on previous thread posts), it would surely be covered under warranty...

Also, Mose on here had similar symptoms and it turned out to be a corroded flang joint, but that was on a Catback equiped '05 VXR.
